We caught up with the flood waters again! The direct road from Bourke to Wilcannia along the Darling River was still closed, hence the detour via Cobar. So there was not much evidence of flooding until we rejoined the Darling in Wilcannia. Below are the floodplains just outside town.

Wilcannia has some fantastic old (empty) buildings. Unfortunately nobody seems to live there anymore....
